This company is EXTREMELY DECEPTIVE in their practice. We PAY EXTRA for insurance in case my husband goes on unemployment, because he's a union carpenter and they get layoffs.

He's also the sole provider for our household.

We had to use the insurance from 10/23-12/23. The insurance company made the FULL payment of $285.50 October through December. Here's where it gets deceptive. One Main continued to pull the payment from our bank account as well in Oct and Nov knowing it was under an insurance claim.

They were double-dipping every month, and keeping the extra payments. My husband had to call them to tell them to stop at the end of November before they double-dipped a THIRD time and got 2 December payments.

We are currently paid ahead until March 1st (well now April 1st) because of them double-dipping those 2 months. Which I don't understand, because we're paid ahead TWO months, not one.

This morning I awoke to find yet ANOTHER $285.50 taken from my account even though my online account and statement both reflect a zero balance and that I'm paid ahead until 3/1/24. This payment they took today caused my electric bill to bounce.

I'm completely disabled and have a small child, and we're on 1 income. They won't give me the money back. They told me the only way to get the money back would be to stop payment on the check...(which everyone knows)...would automatically default my loan and initiate repossession of my collateral. So now I'm stuck with no options, and they know this.

Actions of a true heartless predator.

They have taken $856.50 out of my account since October that wasn't owed to them. Their excuse...we "needed to call them every month to tell them not to take the payment even though it's paid ahead (and was under an active insurance claim), because SOME PEOPLE like having the extra money towards their principal balance." Unfortunate for me, I'm not "some people ". We're on a limited income and on a budget. And I'm sorry, but insurance fraud isn't my thing.

They cashed insurance checks knowing they had already pulled the payment from our account. They should've stopped payment on the insurance checks and notified them of the double payments, or should've notified us giving us the option to be reimbursed the $256.50 x2 or to leave it towards the principal balance. They did neither.

They took the money and ran.

Very deceptive and predatory behavior. Can't wait to pay off this loan and be done with them.

This is the email I wrote AFTER I was harrassed, threatened that they were coming to my home, hung up on, from a collection agency who was hired by Citi Bank AND I HAVE NO IDEA WHO THIS CITI BANK IS!!! THE NERVE OF THESE PEOPLE.

Please DO NOT do business with these unprofessional, unscrupulous, people. Both have been put on notice. One more call and I'll start Proceedings!!!

I applied to Citi for a charge card and it said I could transfer $1,000 of another card over to the new Citi card. NO...they LIED!!!

After I got the card I proceeded to set up Auto Pay with a representative only to find out that NO...NO...auto pay WAS NOT SET UP!!! I then went on line to set Auto Pay up myself. I TOOK AN ACTUAL PICTURE OF THE SCREEN WITH I RECEIVED THE CONFIRMATION THAT AUTO PAY WAS SET UP. BUT NO!!!

They STILL contacted me about an overdue payment. THESE PEOPLE ARE COMPLETE IDIOTS!!!

TODAY I CLOSED OUT THE ACCOUNT, ASKED FOR A PAPER STATEMENT AND NOW WILL HAVE TO CALL THE CREDIT AGENCIES TO REGAIN MY GOOD CREDIT SCORE. DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE...THEY ARE FROM THE PLANET "ANUS"...THEY ARE BRAINLESS ***

Good afternoon. Gentlemen of OneMain financial, I find it in bad taste that you waste my time on a loan application, that in the end you asked me for a title for a car that I own to be able to lend me the requested amount, what you do with it is a deception.

the people who request a loan with you and I do have my own car, but I am not going to pawn my title for a miserable $12,000, when my car is worth more money and something else would have happened, if you had asked me for a guarantee from the beginning. said loan and not requesting it at the end of the negotiation, it seemed very unprofessional to me apart from the fact that the interest rate was very high, thank goodness I didn't do business with you

I have sent numerous letters to the Comptroller of the Currency regarding this financial institution. I had one Citi Credit card and a Sunoco Credit Card by Citi.

These people are pulling some kind of SCAM!!! First of all, to set up auto pay...forget it!!! I tried TWICE and NOTHING happened...thus receiving late charges and fees!! I have repeatedly asked for "paper" statements on BOTH accounts and to date (as of 2/22/2024) they have sent my February statement.

Mind you, I went onto the Sunoco site and do NOT have record of my user name nor passcode, but was able to connect with my account. THESE THIEVES HAS CHARGED MY ACCOUNT INTEREST FEES LOWER THAN $5.00 AND SINCE I HAVE RECEIVED NO NOTIFICATION FROM THEM...THEY HAVE CHARGED ME $40.00/mo in late fees totaling $217.72!!!

I have reported them yet again and I will continue to report these THUGS!!! This is NOT good banking...this is NOT bad banking...this is THEFT!!!
