I have a personal loan with them. I missed a payment or two.

Yes, that is wrong. However, when I pay them, I pay several months in advance. When I tell you they call non-stop; all day, all evening, weekend mornings. NON STOP!!

They call your cell phone. They call your job. ALLLLL DAY . It is sooooo annoying!!!

From all different telephone numbers. Once I pay this loan, i will NEVER EVER EVER get a personal loan from them again.

They literally HARASS you. I totally understand they want their money but it it beyond. I have never encountered such annoyance like this before.

I so regret borrowing from them.

i will also let my friends know not to borrow from them. Not to mention the high interest rate.

you cant even pay towards the principal. Just not right at all.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Um. Sorry to tell these other people replying but most places do push back payments Say your payment is $200 and you pay $800 most places will push back your payments the months the TOTAL payment you made covers.

Thereโ€™s nothing weird or โ€œ50โ€™sโ€ about this practice. Unless otherwise specified in an agreement saying any extra will ONLY be applied to principal then it goes towards normal payments. Sorry the other people replying were like this.

Also I applied at one main for a loan to consolidate 2 car loans and because before even getting my verification info (I was pre-approved they just need my drivers license and pay stub) they have called 6-8 times a day and emailed 3-4 times a day in 5 days time, Iโ€™m not going through with a loan through them, they are already contacting me too often for someone whoโ€™s not a high risk lender (high risk lenders sell your info and spam you non stop on 400 different numbers) itโ€™s suspicious at best. Legit lenders want your business but donโ€™t spend half their days harassing you to get it.

" Unless otherwise specified in an agreement "You may want to read the agreements. It tells you how the money is to be posted, what it will go to and when dollars will start going to the principle.

It's right there and most people don't bother to understand.

They just want the loan.In the 50's you dealt with a neighborhood banker who gave you kids lollipops when you came in. He knew you, you knew him.Today it's all computers and underpaid people hundreds if not thousands of miles away.Moral of the story....UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU SIGN..

I've been in finance for almost 30 years. NO reputable loan company allows you to pay several monthly payments in advance. That is not how loans work.

You can issue a cease and desist to stop all communication, and keep it to written only

" I pay several months in advance"Or the OP can grow up and understand how loans work. If I'm understanding, this person is saying they pay a lump payment they feel will cover several months. That's not how this works, this isn't how any of this works.

One lump payment will count as a payment for the month. Next month you'll owe again.Learn to manage your money so you don't have to make lump payments or better yet, set up your next monthly payments to stop the calls. When you walked out with the money, you signed a piece of paper saying you understood the loan which includes how to make payments and the calls would roll the second you're late.OK....

let's have it. You must work for(insert company).

Typical loser's reply. You must work for (insert company).

People can choose to follow your nonsense or the poster who explained why advance payments DO NOT cover the next several months. We learned this in high school. For those who want to learn, say your payment is $100.00 per month and you send in $400.00. This DOES NOT mean you can coast 4 months without paying again. It's a good notion and would probably work if this were the 50's and you dealt with a small town institution who knew what you were doing. You're dealing with a computer that doesn't know @#$# about your plan.

OR you can simply pay your bill on time. That's the quickest way to stop the calls. People like this and their supporters who don't believe in paying bills on time for whatever is the reason they can't get normal low interest rate loans.Pay on time and forget the checking 800 Notes to see who's calling or worrying about writing letters.
