I received a mailing from One Main, as i have a loan out with them now. I applied to receive a new offer they sent in the mail on 9/6/2018.

I was informed i would receive a answer by end of business on 9/6/2018. It took the better part of 29hrs to get a formal response.There website states "quick and easy" and "fast decision" "money same day if approved by noon",, but yet it takes them 29hrs to supply a answer to a current customer. I don't see where "quick and easy" or "fast decision" can come into play when it took 29hrs to supply a answer and no new documentation had to be supplied on my behalf. The offer they sent me had my current balance on it with a offer to get more money by rolling my old loan into a new loan.

so on 9/6/2018 One mains website stated "your documents have been reviewed". "we are currently finalizing your application. A branch representative will reach out to you to set up time to begin your loan closing".. How can i be waiting for a rep to call if i have'nt been denied or approved?

how can i close on a loan if i don't have approval.. your words on your website are fraudulent and deceptive. I was under the assumption of what the website stated that i was approved, due to the reasoning its impossible to close on a loan that your denied on.To make the situation even better when i called One Mains main number customer service rep told me that he sees in my account that "branch manger approved" those where the words used by there rep. Hopefully they can go pull that phone call from 9/7/2018 @ 12:17pm.

So as per there website im awaiting to close my loan and there rep told me branch manager approved, but it was'nt until 1:23pm on 9/7/2018 that i was contacted by the branch manager Kimberly Henninger that told me i was'nt approved and the reason being is that i need to make more payments.. My credit, income and collateral hasn't changed since my original approval, ive never been late with a payment and in 22years of having credit i've never been denied for the reason "I need to make more payments" that was the answer giving along with my denial. The entire process was done wrong,everything i experienced last week with One mains practices contradicts what there website states, its clearly false and misleading advertising. Best thing about this whole ordeal is the fact that i was lied to disrespected and treated the absolute opposite of what they refer to me as a "valued customer".

I informed One Main when i made my complaint that i would give them the time to call me back and discuss this issue, i've never received that phone call further proving how "valued" i am. Thank you One Main for the abundant amount of lies, the wasting of my time and your disrespectful ways towards me. This will be the first of many complaints towards your company. I have phone records and printed screens to prove everything i've stated above.

Ive never been contacted by the company in regards to my formal complaints. It has now been more then 10 days since contacting them

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
